FMDV2A – Atmospheric dump valve for the 2015-on Ford Mustang 2.3 Ecoboost
The Forge Motorsport atmospheric dump valve for the 2015-on Ford
Mustang 2.3 Ecoboost. The stock Ford valve is now a standard electronic
solenoid type which we have seen failures of on other vehicles over the
past few years. Our valve solution fully integrates with the ECU so that
it still thinks the original valve is connected to the car, yet when it
activates the valve, you now get the traditional dump valve ‘whoosh’
accompanying your gearchanges. Also our valve is fully serviceable, and
rebuildable with a stronger spring should you increase the boost
pressure with a remap.
